In 1997, the first of 13 million tons of dirt from Bostonís Big Dig project arrived to the 450 acre site of the old granite quarries and town landfills in Quincy and Milton. In 2003, play began on the first available holes with completion of all 27 holes and the Clubhouse building in 2006.
Today, Granite Linksí championship caliber, links-style courses offer the most scenic vistas anywhere including breathtaking views of Bostonís skyline to the North, the Harbor and Islands to the East, and the forested backdrop of the Blue Hills Reservation to the West. Located just 7 quick miles from Boston, Granite Links has become a must-play destination for locals and visitors from around the globe.
Club Members have priority privileges, and the public is also welcome to play through select tee times or by booking a full-scale shotgun Outing on Mondays. Visitors can also enjoy the lighted Driving Range, Crossing Nines Patio Bar and the Tavern restaurant.
The clubhouse function spaces are available for booking private events from weddings and galas in the Grand Ballroom and New England Clambakes in the Pavilion Tent, to executive meetings in the Board Room and birthday celebrations in the Tavern's Veranda Room.
Golf Digest named Granite Links a Top 100 Golf Course in America, and Back9Network named the Tavern at Quarry Hills to their list of the Ten Best Golf Hangouts in the World!
